This is a great class for beginners.

Learn to hand embroider a bee panel using techniques such as French knots and satin stitch with hand appliqué and embellishments.

Class Aim:

Using a provided design to create an appliquéd and hand stitched hoop, this class will introduce the technique of appliqué using Bondaweb (transfer adhesive).  A few simple hand embroidery stitches will be used to create texture and detail. 

All materials will be included, there will be a pool of threads and small pieces of fabric to use.

Please bring a pair of fabric scissors and some thread scissors if you have them. 

Small pieces of haberdashery from your own collection, e.g. buttons, beads, lace etc.  can be used to personalise your project. 

Heather will demonstrate stretching and mounting embroideries to create a finished piece. 

** Full payment is taken at the time of booking (this is non-refundable or transferable to a different class). However, if the class has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.

Free plentiful parking with charging for electric vehicles available at an additional cost.
