Embroidery Classes

I have been embroidering for over 50 years and I still get a rush of excitement and ‘itchy hands’ when I see beautiful threads and fabrics. My aim is to inspire this same feeling in others. I will be offering a range of exciting embroidery and textile classes in our purpose built work room.

  • The classes will cover all aspects of this remarkable craft, from the quiet contemplation of hand stitch to the computer wizardry of digital embroidery including many techniques involving hand and machine embroidery.

  • All classes will be kept purposely small to allow plenty of one to one tuition and support with me.

  • All levels will be welcome, from complete beginners to those who want more of a challenge.

  • We will have fully disabled access for all classes.

  • A visit to my studio will be part of every class, giving you the opportunity see my workspace, current work in progress and what inspires my work.

“I’m just emailing to thank you for a great workshop on Saturday. I know that everybody enjoyed it and even those among us who are not experienced machine embroiderers managed to make beautiful butterflies.”
